Job summary

Barwon Health in Geelong is seeking a Patient Liaison Administrator (Grade 1) to deliver outstanding customer service to patients, families and stakeholders while supporting private patient revenue management. You will collect documentation for billing, ensure accurate inpatient accounts, and collaborate with clinicians, insurers and internal teams to provide a seamless patient experience.

This role offers flexible full-time or part-time options, five weeks leave pro rata, and salary packaging

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering exceptional customer service to diverse patients and stakeholders.
• Strong administrative and computer skills with accurate data handling.
• Able to work collaboratively and resolve problems proactively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate customer service to patients, families and carers with admission, billing, and private patient election processes.
• Coordinate accurate inpatient billing by maintaining documentation, patient classification, revenue integrity, and compliance with policies.
• Build relationships with patients, clinicians, insurers, and internal stakeholders to support private patient services and discharge planning.
