Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Melbourne’s western suburbs is seeking a Patient Services Assistant to support the Food & Environmental Department at Werribee Mercy Hospital. The role is full-time with a 38-hour week and a Monday to Sunday roster, with optional ADO.

You will ensure adherence to Victorian Public Health cleaning and Food Safety standards, deliver patient-centred care, and contribute to a collaborative team in a growing emergency care context.

Qualifications

• Health Services Assistant certification or working toward it.
• Current Food Handling Certificate.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise and train staff.
• Experience in hospital, hotel, or cleaning sector desirable.

Responsibilities

• Based at Werribee Mercy Hospital and support the Food & Environmental Department.
• Roster management and ensuring standards in a busy environment.
• Ensure Victorian Public Health cleaning and Food Safety standards are met.
• Deliver high-quality patient-centred care and contribute to a collaborative team.
