Job summary

East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) is recruiting Compensable Patient Admin Officers to support revenue through correct patient status processing. The roles involve liaising with patients, staff and stakeholders to maximise hospital revenue and ensure accurate data in webPAS.

The positions are fixed-term for 12 months with potential extension or permanency, full-time and based in the EMHS Revenue Department.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient queries regarding the Private Patient Incentive Program.
• Assist in the ongoing education program for key stakeholders and maintain broader staff awareness of hospital revenue requirements.
• Updating patient demographics and financial details in the electronic patient administration system (webPAS).
• Participates in the maintenance of a safe work environment.
