Job summary

Monash IVF Group is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator/Medical Receptionist in Sydney CBD to welcome patients, manage bookings and billing, and support clinic operations with empathy and precision.

Based in a busy urban clinic, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, handle calls and emails, and contribute to a best-in-class patient experience while maintaining accurate data in the management system.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a busy phone switchboard in a professional setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong communication skills across channels
• Ability to deliver the 5E patient experience principles: empathy, entrust, engage, empower, expectation
• Excellent computer literacy with Microsoft Office
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational capability
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
• Strong time-management and prioritisation skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality administrative support to internal teams and external stakeholders
• Create a welcoming, best-in-class patient experience at every interaction
• Manage patient bookings and clinic appointment schedules
• Triage and respond to incoming calls and emails with professionalism and care
• Accurate data entry in the patient management system
• Generate financial quotes and discuss them with patients
• Medical billing and receipting
• Provide general administrative support to the clinic team
