Job summary

Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology is seeking enthusiastic Part-Time Pathology Collectors to join our Patient Services Team in NSW. You will collect blood and non-blood samples, perform basic tests like ECG, and ensure samples are correctly labelled.

Training is provided. Applicants need unrestricted working rights in Australia and will require a National Police Check, Working with Children clearance, and a First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) before starting.

We are seeking enthusiastic Part-Time Pathology Collectors to join our vibrant Patient Services Team. You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:

• Collecting blood and non-blood samples from patients, including conducting basic tests such as ECG and Holter Monitoring
• Following strict guidelines and procedures to ensure all samples are accurately labelled
• Guiding patients or caregivers on sampling procedures
• Preparing specimens for transportation to the laboratory
