Job summary

Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology is seeking enthusiastic Part-Time Pathology Collectors to join our Patient Services Team on the North Shore Upper. You will collect blood and non-blood samples, including ECG and Holter monitoring, and ensure samples are accurately labelled following strict procedures.

Training will be provided; experience is not required. The role requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week with a scheduled roster, Monday to Sunday, and working rights in Australia.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
• National Police Check required (DHM)
• Working with Children clearance required
• First Aid Certificate HLTAID011 required
• Minimum commitment of 20 hours per week

We are seeking enthusiastic Part-Time Pathology Collectors to join our vibrant Patient Services Team. You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:

• Collecting blood and non-blood samples from patients, including conducting basic tests such as ECG and Holter Monitoring
• Following strict guidelines and procedures to ensure all samples are accurately labelled
• Guiding patients or caregivers on sampling procedures
• Preparing specimens for transportation to the laboratory
