Job summary

Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology in New South Wales is seeking enthusiastic Part-Time Pathology Collectors to join our Patient Services Team. You will collect blood and non-blood samples, operate basic tests, label samples accurately and guide patients on sampling procedures.

Prior to commencement, applicants must have unrestricted working rights in Australia. A National Police Check, Working with Children clearance and First Aid certification will be required.

We are seeking enthusiastic Part-Time Pathology Collectors to join our vibrant Patient Services Team. You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:

• Collecting blood and non-blood samples from patients, including conducting basic tests such as ECG and Holter Monitoring
• Following strict guidelines and procedures to ensure all samples are accurately labelled
• Guiding patients or caregivers on sampling procedures
• Preparing specimens for transportation to the laboratory
