Job summary

Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology is seeking enthusiastic Part-Time Pathology Collectors to join our Patient Services Team in NSW. You will collect samples, label them accurately, guide patients on procedures, and prepare specimens for transport to the lab.

We offer a learning and supportive environment with high-quality training. A minimum 20 hours per week commitment is required, and workers must have unrestricted rights to work in Australia and relevant clearances prior to commencement.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
• Experience and qualifications are optional; training will be provided.
• Part-time hours on a scheduled roster, Monday to Sunday.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and non-blood samples from patients and conduct basic tests.

We are seeking enthusiastic Part-Time Pathology Collectors to join our vibrant Patient Services Team. You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:

• Collecting blood and non-blood samples from patients, including conducting basic tests such as ECG and Holter Monitoring
• Following strict guidelines and procedures to ensure all samples are accurately labelled
• Guiding patients or caregivers on sampling procedures
• Preparing specimens for transportation to the laboratory
