Job summary

Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology in Condobolin, NSW, is seeking a Pathology Collector to join our Patient Services Team on a part-time roster. You will collect samples, assist with ECG/Holter monitoring, and ensure accurate labelling in a fast-paced clinical setting.

We are seeking enthusiastic Pathology Collectors to join our vibrant Patient Services Team. You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:

• Collecting blood and non-blood samples from patients including conducting basic tests such as ECG and Holter Monitoring
• Following strict guidelines and procedures to ensure all samples are accurately labelled
• Guiding patients or caregivers on sampling procedures
• Preparing specimens for transportation to the laboratory

We offer a comprehensive training program suitable for medical/health science students wishing to gain valuable experience in a clinical environment whilst studying. You will learn high quality patient care and valuable clinical skills in a fast paced, flexible working environment.
