Job summary

Hinchcliff House Pastry Chef role at Hinchcliff House | Sydney CBD | Casual. Join a vibrant pastry team serving three venues and develop your craft under a calm, skilled leadership in a bustling kitchen.

Working with Head Pastry Chef Swapnadeep Das and chefs Andrea Sonnante and Alex Wong, you’ll contribute to prep and final presentation of desserts, while refining techniques in an Italian-inspired pastry program.

Qualifications

Previous pastry experience at Demi CDP or CDP level.
A genuine passion for pastry, precision and beautifully executed desserts.
Eagerness to learn new techniques and continually refine your skills.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen while maintaining quality and consistency.
Strong organisation, attention to detail and pride in presentation.
A positive attitude and a genuine appreciation for teamwork.
Someone who takes ownership of their work, welcomes guidance and enjoys being challenged.
Flexibility to work across a seven-day roster, including weekends.

Responsibilities

From preparation through to final presentation, help deliver consistently beautiful desserts and pastries across the venues.
Work alongside and learn from Head Pastry Chef Swapnadeep Das and other accomplished chefs including Andrea Sonnante and Alex Wong.
Develop technical skills and confidence in a fast-paced pastry kitchen.
