Job summary

Miss Maud in WA is seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team. This permanent full-time role involves day shifts from 6am to 2:30pm, with free onsite secure parking and laundered uniforms provided.

You will work in a supportive team and contribute to high-quality pastries. Responsibilities include planning daily preparation, maintaining recipe standards, assisting product development, and minimising waste while upholding health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery pastry, baking or equivalent.
• Excellent dough break and piping skills.
• Good pallet knife skills are an advantage.
• Excellent technical knowledge of pastry cooking techniques.
• Ability to maintain high and consistent standards.
• Eye for detail and presentation.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Physically fit.
• Have reliable transport with a valid driver’s licence.
• Be able to work in Australia without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are consistently prepared to recipe and to the highest quality standard.
• Schedule, plan and complete daily preparation and production.
• Assist with product development.
• Control, record and minimise waste.
• Maintain the cleanliness of equipment and utensils to meet health and safety regulations.
