Qualifications

• Background in pastry kitchen is advantageous.
• Qualifications in Patisserie III and IV or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Wash and peel, weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
• Prepare and cook pastries according to recipes, quality standards, and food prep checklists.
• Prepare cold foods; operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Monitor food quality while preparing food.
• Set-up and break down work station; serve food in proper portions.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Learn and apply new techniques under mentor guidance.
