Job summary
Astrum Recruitment is seeking an experienced Fire Door or Passive Fire Technician to join a well-established NSW fire protection specialist. You will inspect, repair and maintain fire doors and passive fire systems across healthcare, commercial, strata and industrial sites.
The role offers up to $60 p/h, plus super, a company vehicle, and long-term stable work. Applicants with AS1851 knowledge, carpentry background, and a valid White Card are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fire door inspection and repair and/or passive fire protection.
- Knowledge of AS1851 and relevant passive fire standards.
- Carpentry background with fire door experience will be considered.
- Current driver’s licence and a valid White Card.
- Good communication and pride in workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair and maintain fire doors and passive fire systems across a mix of sites.
- Carry outdoor repairs and remediation, including hardware, seals, closers and frames.
- Complete accurate inspection and defect reporting to AS1851 requirements.
