Job summary

Phil Gilbert Motor Group in Sydney is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor / Storeperson to lead the Parts Department at Lidcombe. This hands-on role focuses on accurate stock handling, picking/packing, and safe warehouse operations.

The successful candidate will have a NSW driver’s licence, a current forklift licence, and at least 1 year in automotive or warehouse settings, with strong attention to detail and communication.

Qualifications

• Valid NSW Driver’s Licence is required.
• Current Forklift Licence – mandatory.
• Previous automotive or warehouse experience (minimum 1 year preferred).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a close-knit team.

Responsibilities

• Accurately receive and locate incoming stock.
• Pick and pack parts orders for internal workshops and external deliveries.
• Ensure accurate dispatch and documentation.
• Safely operate a forklift to move stock.
• Maintain a clean, efficient, and safe warehouse.
• Assist with stocktakes and inventory control procedures.
• Provide day-to-day support and training to warehouse team members in the absence of the Parts Manager.

About the Role

We're currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor / Storeperson to join our Parts Department at Lidcombe.

This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys leading by example, supporting the Parts team, and helping drive efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately receive and locate incoming stock
• Pick and pack parts orders for internal workshops and external deliveries
• Ensure accurate dispatch and documentation
• Safely operate a forklift to move stock
• Maintain a clean, efficient, and safe warehouse

What You’ll Need to Succeed
