Job summary

HSY Autoparts is seeking a motivated Warehouse Assistant for our Keysborough Branch, Melbourne. You will be actively involved in receiving, picking, packing and dispatching automotive parts, with occasional driving to support local deliveries and branch transfers.

The role suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, values reliability, and is keen to grow within the automotive industry while balancing warehouse tasks and road duties.

Qualifications

• Must be physically capable of manual tasks including lifting up to 20kg.
• Must have full Australian working rights and a current unrestricted Australian driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and store incoming stock.
• Pick, pack and dispatch automotive parts accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare orders for local, interstate and airfreight distribution.
• Assist with stocktakes and maintain orderly warehouse spaces.

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our team at our Keysborough Branch.

This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role suited to someone who enjoys staying active, working as part of a close‑knit team and taking pride in doing the job properly.

You’ll play an important role in keeping our branch running smoothly by receiving, picking, packing and dispatching automotive parts accurately and efficiently. You’ll also provide driving and delivery support when required, including customer deliveries, branch transfers and supplier collections.

Depending on the operational needs of the branch, driving may form a regular part of your week, or you may step in to cover our regular drivers when needed, so you’ll need to be comfortable both working in the warehouse and getting out on the road.

Whether you already have warehouse experience or you’re looking to build a long‑term career in the automotive industry, we’re looking for someone with the right attitude, reliability and work ethic.

What You'll Be Doing

• Receiving, checking and storing incoming stock
• Picking, packing and dispatching automotive parts accurately and efficiently
• Preparing orders for local, interstate and airfreight distribution
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Assisting with stocktakes, stock organisation and resolving picking errors
• Keeping warehouse shelves, work areas and workstations clean, organised and safe
• Supporting the wider team with day‑to‑day warehouse requirements
• Completing customer deliveries, branch transfers and supplier collections as required
• Loading, securing and transporting parts safely and accurately
• Maintaining delivery documentation and obtaining proof of delivery where required
• Providing friendly and professional service when interacting with customers
• Completing vehicle safety checks and reporting any faults, damage or incidents

These additions reflect the broader receiving, dispatch, inventory, customer‑service and driving responsibilities in the updated PD.
