Truckline in Ipswich (QLD) is seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter to greet customers and identify the right parts solutions to keep vehicles on the road. You’ll operate as the first point of contact for trade, workshop and fleet customers and contribute to branch sales targets.

The role requires parts interpreting experience, automotive knowledge, strong customer service, and excellent communication. A current driver’s licence and computer skills are essential, with opportunities for career

Formación

• Experience in parts interpreting or automotive retail.
• Knowledge of truck or commercial vehicle parts preferred.
• Strong customer service and sales abilities.
• Clear communication and relationship-building skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in admin tasks.
• Basic computer and administration proficiency.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Current driver's licence required.

Responsabilidades

• Be the first contact for customers and identify parts requirements.

Job Description

As a Parts Interpreter, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, providing expert advice and identifying the right parts solutions to keep vehicles on the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and identify customer parts requirements
• Provide outstanding service to trade, workshop and fleet customers
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare quotations and follow up sales opportunities
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Liaise with suppliers, warehouse and branch teams
• Assist with stock enquiries and inventory availability
• Contribute to branch sales and customer service targets
• Ensure a positive customer experience with every interaction

Qualifications

• Previous Parts Interpreting experience
• Automotive, truck, commercial vehicle or related industry knowledge
• Strong customer service and sales skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Strong attention to detail
• Sound computer and administration skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• Current driver's licence
• Mechanical aptitude or passion for vehicles
