Are you ready to kickstart your career with one of Australia’s leading outdoor media companies? We are currently on the hunt for an energetic go-getter to join us as our newest Partnerships & Events Manager!

Life at QMS Media? It's Anything but Ordinary!

At QMS Media, we bring creativity and innovation to the world of outdoor advertising, delivering impactful solutions with digital billboards, street furniture, and beyond. Our team is passionate, authentic, and a little contagious (in a good way!). We are always pushing boundaries, celebrating wins, and evolving together.

Proud to be a WGEA Employer of Choice for Gender Equality since 2017 and with our Reconciliation Action Plan endorsed by Reconciliation Australia, we at QMS Media are committed to an inclusive workplace where everyone thrives, and where the rights, culture, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are celebrated and respected.

What you'll be up to:

Please note this role is a 12-month fixed term parental leave cover.

The Partnerships & Events Manager leads QMS’ strategic partnerships, sponsorships and national and state-based events to drive brand awareness, customer engagement and client satisfaction. The role oversees partnership development, negotiations, event delivery and reporting, ensuring all initiatives align with QMS’ business goals, values and brand strategy.

Manage commercial partnerships, negotiations, activations and reporting to maximise value and ROI.

Deliver campaigns and sponsorships on time, within budget and aligned with QMS objectives.

Build strong partner relationships and leverage sponsorship assets across brand, digital, PR and hospitality.

Manage event planning, logistics and execution to ensure on-brand, high-quality experiences.

Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product teams to align event objectives and customer experiences.

Develop and deliver national and state-based events that support commercial goals and client engagement.

Track KPIs, evaluate performance and report outcomes and recommendations to senior leadership.

Work with Brand, Campaign, Digital and Communications teams to align activities with QMS’ brand strategy and priorities.

What we’re looking for:

Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Events or Communications.

6+ years’ experience in events, partnerships or sponsorship marketing.

Proven track record delivering complex programs and managing stakeholders and suppliers.

Strong project management skills, attention to detail and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.

Excellent organisation, multitasking and budget management skills.

Proficiency in Google Workspace and collaboration tools such as Slack, Asana and Splash.

Calm, solutions-focused and accountable under pressure.

Collaborative, customer-focused and service-oriented.

Professional and personable in client-facing environments.

What’s in it for you?

A fun, friendly and supportive work environment where no two days are the same.

Awesome learning opportunities - ongoing learning and development to help you springboard into the future you want both personally and professionally.

A workplace that values YOU, your growth, and your ideas. We're big on being inquisitive and 'out of the ordinary'.

We get that life isn't just about work - enjoy flexible options that fit around your world.

Career development, and the chance to work with a team that's as excited and passionate as you are!

A fabulous workspace - both in location and vibes! We're located in South Melbourne, so you're never too far from delicious food, drinks, and the beach. On the days you don't want to leave the office (hello, Melbourne weather) we have you covered with goodies and daily lunchtime quizzes.
