Job summary

IRT Kangara Waters (ACT) is seeking a part-time Workforce Planner to forecast staffing, analyze workforce data, and develop rostering strategies to ensure the right people are in the right roles. You will collaborate with multiple departments to boost operational efficiency and support organisational goals.

The successful candidate will have Rostering experience, qualifications in business/HR, and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Rostering and/or other similar position
• Qualifications in business, commerce, human resources and/or demonstrated experience in a similar role
• High level skills with Microsoft Office products and HR information systems.
• Payroll Certification (desirable)
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules in line with business needs
• Assist the Workforce Coordinator to effectively roster our employee resources
• Publish rosters, process employee status changes and employment transactions with knowledge of industrial instruments
• Manage contacts from employees and team leaders regarding absences and backfilling needs
• Ensure compliance to all company and industry guidelines
• Set new staff up on the systems
