Job summary

St Joseph's School, Pemberton, a co-educational Catholic primary school in the South West of Western Australia, invites applications for a Finance Officer to join our administration team. This 21-hour-per-week position (0.5 FTE) is worked over three days and supports financial operations, reporting, and compliance with school procedures in collaboration with the Principal and Leadership Team.

Qualifications

• Experience in school finance, bookkeeping or financial administration.
• Commitment to Catholic Education ethos and working within a school environment.
• Eligibility to work in Australia and a current Working With Children Check.
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (WA DoE) or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.

Responsibilities

• Support the school's financial operations and reporting.
• Assist with accounts receivable/payable, BAS, payroll support and general ledger processing.
• Ensure compliance with financial procedures and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with the Principal, Leadership Team and Administration Team to deliver accurate, timely financial information.
