Job summary

Inter IKEA Systems B.V. is seeking a Sales Co-worker for our Self Serve Warehouse & Outdoor department in Sydney.

The role combines customer service, active selling, stock handling and daily operational tasks in a physically active retail environment. You should have experience in customer service, retail sales, warehousing, logistics, trade or related fields, and be comfortable using handheld devices, computers and digital systems to complete daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, retail sales, warehousing, logistics, trade, hardware or other physically active environments.
• Passionate about creating a positive customer experience and helping customers find the right products and services.
• Confident engaging with customers, preparing delivery orders and actively selling IKEA products and services.

Responsibilities

• Serving customers by understanding their needs, providing product advice, supporting delivery orders and actively selling the IKEA range.
• Preparing, replenishing and condensing stock to ensure products are available and presented correctly for customers.
• Moving pallets and handling stock safely using approved lifting techniques and mechanical aids.
• Maintaining the Outdoor and Self Serve Warehouse areas to ensure they are safe, tidy, fully stocked and ready for trade.
• Processing customer returns, checking for damages and returning saleable products to stock.
