Job summary

Wilson Security is seeking a Part-Time Relief Campus Security Officer to support our Adelaide operations. The role involves day, night and weekend shifts, customer service, patrols, incident reporting and collaboration with facilities teams.

Training and upgrades are provided, including First Aid/CPR and WWCC compliance. Ideal candidates have a SA security licence, driver’s licence, and the stamina to walk and stand for long periods.

Part-Time Relief Campus Security Officer

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Location: Southern Adelaide Metro
• Part Time positions available (30 hours per roster week) - with opportunities to advance to Full Time employment
• Ability to work days,nights or weekends
• Up to 12 hour shifts
• First Aid / Working with Childrens Check (WWCC) Mandatory
• Additional Training provided as required
• Level 4 SSIA w/ relevant allowances

Wilson Security is expanding in Adelaide, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the region.

This growth has created new roles within our team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.

These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing strong Customer Service solutions to visitors, contractors, staff and students
• Conducting building patrols to actively report and mitigate security & safety risks
• Identifying and reporting hazards and building faults for rectification
• Providing support to Facilities Management
• Providing assistance to staff and students with a multitude of different requests
• Responding to emergency situations
• Contractor management duties
• Ad-hoc duties

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Australian Citizen or hold Unlimited Work Rights
• Experience on large geographical sites or within education desirable
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and write reports
• Demonstrated ability to monitor CCTV and Access Control Systems highly desirable
• Availability to and physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods
• Valid SA Security License and SA Drivers Licence
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Working With Childrens Check Required
• Chief Fire Warden Training will be provided
