Job summary

Wilson Security in Adelaide’s Southern Metro is seeking security officers for 4 on 4 off rotation. Roles include day, night and weekend shifts, with up to 12-hour durations. Required: First Aid/WWCC, and valid SA Security Licence and SA Drivers Licence. Additional training provided as needed.

These positions support expansion of our Adelaide contracts, offering opportunities in response and event-focused duties across locations with the Operations Team and Duty Managers.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles and strong service orientation.
• Ability to patrol buildings and report safety hazards.
• Willingness to work across days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Current SA Security Licence and SA Drivers Licence.
• Working With Children Check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, staff and students.
• Conduct building patrols and report safety risks.
• Identify and report hazards and faults for rectification.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Full Time position available (4 on 4 off rotation)

• First Aid / Working with Childrens Check (WWCC) Mandatory
• Additional Training provided as required

Wilson Security is expanding in Adelaide, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the region.

This growth has created new roles within our team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.

These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing strong Customer Service solutions to visitors, contractors, staff and students
• Conducting building patrols to actively report and mitigate security & safety risks
• Identifying and reporting hazards and building faults for rectification
• Providing support to Facilities Management
• Providing assistance to staff and students with a multitude of different requests
• Responding to emergency situations

• Demonstrated ability to monitor CCTV and Access Control Systems highly desirable
• Availability to and physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods
• Valid SA Security License and SA Drivers Licence
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Working With Childrens Check Required
• Chief Fire Warden Training will be provided
