Job summary

Act for Kids is seeking an experienced part-time Program Manager to lead the Intensive Family Support (IFS) service in Queensland. You will guide a multidisciplinary team, strive for excellence in practice and ensure delivery of high‑quality, evidence-informed support for children and families.

The role is 0.8 FTE with a pro-rata salary of $135,343–$140,675 plus superannuation, and requires strong governance, partnership building and program development skills.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant tertiary qualification with professional registration (if required) and membership in a professional association (desirable).
• At least five (5) years' experience managing a multidisciplinary team in a similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team through supervision, coaching and professional development.
• Drive service quality and practice excellence by overseeing risk management and evidence-informed practice frameworks.
• Provide operational leadership through budget oversight, program performance monitoring and compliance with contracts and quality requirements.
• Strengthen community impact by building strategic partnerships and promoting integrated service delivery.
