Job summary

Wholesale Food Group on the Gold Coast is seeking a Part Time Procurement & Inventory Coordinator to manage purchasing, stock control and supplier performance while supporting production planning. You will raise POs, source ad-hoc items, maintain BOM and pricing, coordinate deliveries, and ensure stock accuracy.

The role requires CIN7 proficiency, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment, with 20–25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience as a Procurement Coordinator or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in CIN7 Inventory system to manage stock levels and orders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Raising purchase orders to meet production schedules.
• Source and purchase ad-hoc consumables and one-off items as directed.
• Ensure compliance with procurement processes and policies.
• Assist with tenders and negotiate contracts for goods.
• Continual supplier analysis to ensure cost reductions and onboarding of new suppliers.
• Coordinate delivery of goods and maintain inventory control with warehouse staff.
• Maintain supplier pricing files within CIN7 for cost accuracy.
• Prepare and forecast annual material prices to enable future budgets.
• Assist with warehouse stock counting and reconciliations.
• Maintain contracts and negotiate with transport operators for best delivery prices.
• Oversee CIN7 inventory management system and BOM maintenance.
• Review sales volumes to plan inventory demand and production schedules.
