Job summary

Headstart ABI Services in Australia is seeking a part-time Payroll Coordinator to manage the payroll lifecycle and ensure timely, accurate payroll processing for staff. The role supports the Finance Manager and the broader team in a values-driven Not-for-Profit environment.

You will handle fortnightly payroll, ensure compliance with SCHADS and taxation principles, and assist staff with payroll queries while supporting onboarding and finance-system integration.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in Finance, Business, or Administration.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in payroll or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, taxation principles, and financial administration.
• Experience with SCHADS Award payroll and modern awards.

Responsibilities

• Process fortnightly payroll lifecycle ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist staff and management with payroll-related queries.
• Collaborate with Finance Manager to meet deadlines and integrate onboarding in systems.
