Casuarina Steiner School is seeking an experienced Payroll and Finance Officer to support the financial administration of our growing school. You will work with the Management Accountant and report to the Business Manager in a collaborative environment.

Permanent part-time employment or independent contractor arrangement is available, with a focus on finance, payroll, and compliance within a values-based education setting. This role suits someone who values accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualificações

• Qualification or equivalent experience in finance/payroll.
• Strong knowledge of MYOB or Xero (or similar software).
• Excellent data entry with attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain accurate employee data across payroll and HR systems.
• Process fortnightly payroll, including timesheets, deductions, reimbursements and superannuation.
• Manage accounts receivable: invoicing, fee reversals, bursaries, statements, reconciliations, parent enquiries.
• Manage accounts payable: data entry, payment processing, purchasing and supplier reconciliations.
• Support BAS, PAYG, and compliance reporting.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and issue letters to employees and parents.
• Provide front-of-house support for school operations.
