Qualifications

• Qualification in accounting, payroll, or business administration, or relevant experience.
• Experience with payroll and accounting software; Employment Hero or SAP B1 preferred.
• Understanding of Australian payroll and tax requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate fortnightly and monthly payroll processing.
• Manage employee onboarding and terminations.
• Prepare payroll tax and payroll journals.
• Perform general ledger (GL) reconciliations.
• Assist with workers compensation insurance.
• Respond to employee payroll and accounting queries.
• Provide backup support to the team when required.
