Doma Hotels in Barton, Canberra, is seeking a Superstar Housekeeping Supervisor in a part-time capacity. You will lead and mentor the housekeeping attendants, ensuring efficient turnover and hygienic practices, and serve as the first point of contact in the absence of the housekeeping manager.

The role emphasizes guest service, leadership, and compliance with safety procedures, with a focus on luxury hospitality standards and collaboration across hotel departments.

Formación

• 5-star guest-service skills and experience in a similar role.
• proven leadership skills and qualities
• maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the hotel and department grooming standards.
• provide friendly, courteous and professional service at all times
• maintain professional working relationships with your colleagues and all other departments
• understanding and adhere to the hotel’s rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety
• flexibility in your job function in order to meet business demands and guest service needs

Responsabilidades

• train and mentor Room Attendants whilst working together to clean effectively
• perform daily cleaning procedures in guest rooms and public areas according to the Doma Group
• service guests' rooms when required or when directed by management
• become familiar with room types, layout of the hotel, facilities and the emergency procedures for the housekeeping department
• handle lost property in a professional manner following the procedures of hotels.
• observe and practice all security procedures for yourself, guest property and the hotel premises
• respond to all guest needs in a courteous and timely manner
• ensure all WHS practices are utilised when performing duties
• report any damaged equipment and maintenance requirements directly into opera.
• maintain inventory and supplies of equipment on trolley and supplies room
