Job summary

LUXXE Outsourced Hotel Services is seeking a Part-time Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team in our Australian operations. You will drive high standards of cleanliness and guest comfort while collaborating closely with hotel staff.

You will conduct daily room inspections, coordinate rosters, support training and performance, and step in for the Housekeeping Manager as needed, maintaining strong working relationships with Front Office and Maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experienced in a 4 or 5 star hotel environment.
• Hands-on leader who can motivate, support and develop a team.
• Excellent presentation and attention to detail.
• Full Australian working rights and rotating roster availability.

Responsibilities

• Leading, supporting and motivating the housekeeping team to deliver high standards of quality and productivity
• Conducting daily room inspections to ensure rooms meet service standards and guaranteed arrival times
• Coordinating daily work allocations, room counts and team requirements
• Supporting the training, development and performance of team members
• Stepping up to support the Housekeeping Manager and covering their days off when required
• Building positive working relationships with Front Office, Maintenance, the General Manager and wider Hotel team
• Maintaining accurate payroll, billing and housekeeping records
• Ensuring housekeeping procedures, Hotel requirements and safety standards are consistently followed
• Taking a hands-on approach and leading by example

The Role

As a Part time Housekeeping Supervisor, you’ll play an important role in leading our housekeeping team and ensuring our hotel is consistently clean, comfortable and welcoming for every guest.

Working closely with the Housekeeping Manager and Hotel team, your responsibilities will include:

• Experienced and passionate Housekeeping professional with previous experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel environment
• Confident hands-on leader who can motivate, support and develop a team while leading by example
• Genuine pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness, quality and service, with excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication, organisation and time management skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across the Hotel team
• Experience with team management, including training, rostering, work allocation, performance and workplace safety
