Job summary

Focus Connect is seeking a compassionate Home Care Support Worker to assist older adults in the Northern Sydney area, including Epping, West Ryde, Pymble and Hornsby. The role offers casual/part-time hours (approx. 15–20 hours per week), Monday to Friday, in clients’ homes and communities.

You will provide personal care, domestic support, and social engagement while building trust and promoting independence. A relevant qualification and checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care is required.
• Willingness to learn domestic assistance tasks.
• Current NSW Driver’s Licence and suitable vehicle.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• National Police Check and Working with Children Check are required.
• Proof of working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including showering, dressing, hygiene support and medication assistance.
• Assist with domestic tasks such as light cleaning, laundry and basic household chores.
• Build genuine, respectful relationships with clients.
