Job summary
Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT) is seeking a Part-Time Home Care Employee to support older clients in their own homes across Fairfield, Wetherill Park and nearby suburbs. The role requires a minimum of 20 hours per fortnight with availability across at least three weekdays and various shifts.
A Certificate III in Aged or Individual Support (or equivalent) and 12 months of relevant care experience are essential.
Qualifications
- Certificate III in Aged or Individual Support or AIN qualifications (Must Have)
- Current driver's license and car with full comprehensive insurance (Must Have)
- Willingness to travel regularly using own vehicle
- Experience in aged care, community care, or home care
Responsibilities
- Meal assistance, including shopping, meal preparation and help with eating
- Transport and accompaniment, including shopping trips and appointments
- Social support & activities, including outings and social activities
- Personal care, showering, and bathing, general self-care duties
- Domestic assistance, light household cleaning
- Medication assistance
