Job summary

Business Singleton seeks a part-time Business Development Coordinator to lead growth, development and the value proposition for its member network. The role focuses on membership, business development, stakeholder engagement, partnerships and sponsorships, building strong ties with members, local businesses, government and strategic partners.

The coordinator will promote services such as co-working, meeting facilities, Spend in Singleton, events, training and the Annual Business Awards, while

Qualifications

• Experience developing and implementing action plans, projects or programs.
• Experience building relationships with businesses, government, community organisations or strategic partners.
• Experience coordinating events, workshops, seminars or networking activities.
• Strong relationship-building, networking and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth, development and value proposition of Business Singleton.
• Develop and implement membership, business development, stakeholder engagement, partnership and sponsorship strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with members, local businesses, government and partners.
• Promote non-membership services including co-working and meeting facilities, events and awards.
• Identify grants and funding opportunities and monitor funded projects.
• Prepare monthly board report and support governance actions.
• Coordinate workloads and ensure consistent delivery.
