Job summary

Save Our Service in Rothwell is seeking a dedicated childcare cook to prepare fresh, healthy and age-appropriate meals and snacks for children.

You will cater for allergies and individual dietary needs, maintain high hygiene standards, plan menus and work closely with educators to support children's wellbeing in a friendly, supportive kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience, ideally within a childcare or similar environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Understanding of children's nutritional needs.
• Ability to cater for allergies and special dietary requirements.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
• A positive attitude and genuine care for children and their wellbeing.
