Job summary

Save Our Service is assisting a centre in Rothwell to recruit a childcare cook responsible for preparing fresh, nutritious meals for children. You will cater for dietary requirements and ensure high standards of hygiene in a welcoming kitchen.

Role requires knowledge of nutrition for children, ability to manage allergies, and independence in a supportive childcare environment.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience, ideally within a childcare or similar environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Understanding of children's nutritional needs.
• Ability to cater for allergies and special dietary requirements.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
• A positive attitude and genuine care for children and their wellbeing.
