Job summary

The Hassett Group is seeking an experienced FP&A professional for a three-month, part-time contract (3–4 days per week) in Melbourne. You will deliver monthly management reporting, build models, and provide decision-support across a diverse business.

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you’ll partner with operational leaders and balance family commitments with a flexible schedule. This role emphasizes strong financial modelling, advanced Excel, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate

Qualifications

• Demonstrated FP&A or Commercial Finance experience.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capability.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
• Commercial mindset with excellent stakeholder management.
• Experience in a large or complex organisation is highly regarded.
• Power BI, Power Query or Business Central experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver monthly management reporting and commercial analysis.
• Build financial models and forecasting tools.
• Analyse operational and financial performance.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business drivers.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Review labour costs, workforce metrics and operational trends.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting and decision making.
