Job summary

REE Early Learning – Eight Mile Plains QLD is seeking an Educational Leader to work part time (20 hours per week) alongside the Centre Director and Educators to nurture high-quality educational practices and a collaborative culture. You will lead EYLF-aligned programs, mentor staff, and support child-led learning in a warm, inclusive Centre.

The role offers professional development and a supportive leadership team at a family‑owned centre located in Brisbane.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or approved higher qualification.
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Framework.
• Experience in programming, curriculum development and reflective practice.
• Experience mentoring and supporting Educators.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A genuine passion for play-based, child-led learning.
• Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
• Current Child Protection training.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the Centre Director and leadership team.
• Lead and support high-quality educational programs aligned with the EYLF.
• Mentor Educators in programming, documentation and reflective practice.
• Support engaging, child-led learning environments, and help establish a positive and consistent educational culture across the centre.
• Understand and respect the different family cultures, and build strong relationships with children, families and educators.
• Help and support the director in social media, marketing, and brand promotion for this centre.
