Job summary

Georges River Council’s Early Learning Services are seeking an Early Childhood Educator (Certificate III) to join the Oatley West Centre on a permanent part-time basis. You will contribute to a safe, welcoming learning environment and deliver age-appropriate programs that support each child’s development, wellbeing and inclusion.

Applicants must hold a Certificate III in Children’s Services (or equivalent) and current First Aid, Working with Children Check, and Child Protection training.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Children’s Services (or equivalent).
• First Aid certificate (incl. Anaphylaxis and Asthma) with ≥6 months remaining.
• Working with Children Check valid for ≥6 months.
• NSW Department of Education Child Protection Training Certificate.
• National Child Safety certification.
• Food Handling and Preparation certification.

Responsibilities

• Support children’s learning, development and daily programs.
• Promote inclusive, child-centred practice for all children.
• Assist with program delivery and daily routines.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Maintain health, safety, hygiene and wellbeing standards.
• Contribute professionally as a team member and comply with policies.
