Job summary

Grow Together Early Learning Centre in Marrickville NSW is seeking a motivated Part-time Educator to support children aged 0–6 across all rooms. You will contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment and help maintain high standards of care.

You will hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, have at least 1 year paid experience, a current Working With Children Check, and knowledge of EYLF and NQS.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is required.
• Minimum 1 year paid experience in the Early Childhood sector.
• A current Working With Children Check is required.
• Child Protection Training Certificate is required.
• Knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and National Regulations is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Cover staff breaks, programming and administrative time, and assist within rooms to maintain educator-to-child ratios.
• Support the creation of a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment for children.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and educators.
• Assist with meeting children's daily care routines, including feeding, sleeping, and hygiene needs.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for all children.
• Support compliance with the National Quality Framework, including the NQS and relevant regulations.
