Georges River Council’s Early Learning Services are inviting an Early Childhood Educator (Cert III) to join the Oatley West Centre. You will support learning experiences, planning, and delivery of age‑appropriate programs in a welcoming environment.

You’ll work with a collaborative team, engaging with children, families, and the wider community to promote development, wellbeing, and inclusion. This permanent part-time role offers stable hours and a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Children’s Services or equivalent.
• Current First Aid Certificate, including Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management.
• Working with Children Check valid for at least six months.
• NSW Department of Education‑approved Child Protection Training Certificate.
• National Child Safety certification.
• Food Handling and Preparation training or certification.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, staff, volunteers, and the wider community.

Responsabilités

• Support children’s learning, development, and daily programs.
• Promote inclusive, child‑centred practice for all children.
• Assist with program delivery and daily routines.
• Build positive relationships with children to support confidence, independence, and social skills.
• Maintain health, safety, hygiene, and wellbeing standards.
• Contribute professionally as a team member and comply with policies and regulations.
