Job summary

Job Q is seeking a compassionate Disability Support Worker for Riverview, QLD 4303. This permanent part-time role offers 10–25 hours weekly with shifts across mornings and evenings.

You will support a wheelchair user with personal care, mobility, and daily living tasks in-home and within the community. The role requires an NDIS Worker Screening Check, Certificate III in relevant care, current First Aid/CPR, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check required.
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or Community Services required.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate required.
• Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to a client who is wheelchair dependent.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
• Utilise a Sara Steady transfer aid for safe mobility.
• Build a positive, respectful relationship and encourage independence.
