Recruitment 247 is seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to assist a wheelchair user with personal care and mobility in or around Ipswich. This role focuses on person-centred care, independence, and dignity, with shifts including mornings and evenings across seven days.

A strong commitment to quality care is essential. The successful candidate will hold a Certificate III in relevant care, a current First Aid/CPR, NDIS screening, and a valid driver’s licence with a reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• Comfort with providing personal care and daily living support.
• Experience with wheelchair users and mobility assistance.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Personal care and daily living support
• Assisting a client who uses a wheelchair
• Use of a Sara Steady transfer aid
• Building a positive and supportive relationship with the client
• Encouraging independence while maintaining dignity and respect
• Morning shifts of 3 hours
• Evening shifts of 2 to 3 hours
• Availability across 7 days per week
• Additional hours may be required
