Responsibilities
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager (Comms & Brand) this fast‑paced role will support the design and implementation of the organic social media strategy for MSF Australia and New Zealand, focusing on creating, disseminating and moderating content on social media.
With accountability for maintaining MSF’s voice across social media, you will be responsible for maintaining an engaging social media calendar covering priorities across the organisation, as well as assisting with content creation for paid awareness campaigns, providing input into the social media strategy and multi‑channel digital marketing ecosystem. You will also be the first point of contact for online moderation, providing responses to supporter questions and comments to ensure compliance with guidelines, privacy / usage regulations, editorial standards and ethical best practices. Key metrics for the role include budget management, reporting, compliance and hitting engagement metrics.
As a part of the highly accountable and progressive Digital team, your work will contribute to elevating MSF’s online presence, increasing engagement through raising awareness, driving impactful fundraising, and supporting recruitment campaigns for our internationally mobile staff.
Requirements
To succeed in this visible position you’ll be known for delivering quality innovative work to tight deadlines, and for staying ahead of the latest trends in the evolving social media landscape. You will be comfortable creating crisis content and will be motivated by working in a humanitarian aid organisation. Ideally you can demonstrate the following:
