Bendigo Bank’s Community Bank Nathalia is seeking a Customer Service Officer for a part-time, permanent role in Nathalia, VIC. You’ll assist customers with transactions, offer digital platform guidance, and promote suitable banking products while upholding risk controls.

Join a close-knit team focused on local community outcomes, with on-the-ground training and development opportunities. The role requires 30 hours per fortnight across two days (Thursday and Friday).

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service environment and the ability to achieve targets.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate transactions with a risk mindset.
• Confidence to communicate with customers face to face and over the phone.
• Willingness to understand Bendigo Bank’s offerings and communicate them clearly.

Responsibilities

• Exploring customers' needs through in-depth conversations to help them achieve financial goals and collaborating with branch specialists.
• Support customers with digital literacy and online banking needs as offerings evolve.
• Be the face of the branch, handling transactions, cash, queries, and paperwork with risk considerations in mind.
• Participate in on-the-job training and external development opportunities.
• Build connections and contribute to the local community through banking services.
