Job summary

Mounties Group is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our Halekulani Bowling Club team on a part-time basis in Budgewoi, NSW. You will prepare and cook a variety of dining options, while maintaining high standards and delivering wholesome, well-presented meals for our guests.

Key duties include managing efficient food prep, maintaining presentation, serving bistro and function meals, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring hygiene practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a kitchen.
• Hold a Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery.
• Be self-disciplined and a team player.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible roster, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage efficient and high-quality food preparation.
• Maintain presentation and consistency of food served.
• Service and prepare for all bistro and function meals.
• Monitoring of stock levels and complete stock rotations.
• Ensure compliance to food handling practices and general cleaning duties.
• Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of food quality.
