Job summary

Mounties Group is seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at Halekulani Bowling Club in Budgewoi, NSW on a part-time basis. You will prepare and cook a variety of dining options while maintaining high standards and presenting wholesome meals for guests.

Requirements include kitchen experience, Cert III/IV in Commercial Cookery, a Food Handling certificate, and the ability to work a flexible roster including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a kitchen.
• Hold a Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery.
• Food Handling certificate.
• Be self-disciplined and a team player.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible roster, which includes days, nights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dining options to a high standard.
• Maintain presentation and consistency of food served.
• Service and prepare for bistro and function meals.
• Monitor stock levels and complete stock rotations.
• Ensure compliance to food handling practices and general cleaning duties.
• Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of food quality.
