Job summary

360 Early Education Macquarie Park seeks a qualified Cook who can design and cook fresh, nutritious meals for young children in a purpose-built kitchen. You will own menu design, balance budgets, and ensure meals meet dietary guidelines while maintaining quality and safety on-site.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is required.
• Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate is required under food safety laws.
• Working knowledge of childcare nutrition guidelines or willingness to learn them.
• Experience managing allergens and special dietary requirements safely.

Responsibilities

• Design, write and rotate the service menu: fresh, seasonal and appealing to young children.
• Cook all meals and snacks on-site daily, plated to a high standard.
• Order stock, manage the food budget and minimise waste while maintaining quality.
• Maintain HACCP-based food safety program and ensure clean, audit-ready kitchen.
• Collaborate with educators and families on nutrition and menu communication.
