Job summary

Interrelate is hiring an Assistant CCS Coordinator in Muswellbrook for 20 hours per week on a fixed-term contract to 30 June 2028. The role supports delivery and quality management of the Children’s Contact Service, including supervising visits, change-overs, case discussions, and court information requests.

The position offers SCHADS Award level 5 with an hourly rate of $57.72 plus super. Based in Muswellbrook, travel within the local region may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with families and children experiencing separation and family breakdown.
• Knowledge of child development and child protection standards.
• Ability to support First Nations, LGBTQIA+ and Culturally & Linguistically Diverse families.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery and quality management of the Children’s Contact Service.
• Support the Coordinator to promote the service within the community.
• Help develop staff observation, note taking and report writing.
• Prepare staff rosters and schedule contact visits/changeovers.
• Participate in case management discussions and wrap-around services.
• Conduct supervised visits and change overs when required.
• Respond to formal information requests from courts and authorities.
• Follow child protection procedures and risk assessment processes.
