University of Western Australia invites an experienced Manager, Business Development to lead a landmark Australian MedTech initiative. This 0.6 FTE, fixed-term role spans two years and includes developing Hypatia’s value proposition, coordinating administrative functions, and shaping the post-project business model within a world-class research ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency related to business development, management, and/or financial accounting.
• Extensive relevant experience at a management level with proven management expertise, where independent, autonomous work has been conducted to achieve team goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and email, as well as AI co-pilot prompting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate a value proposition for Hypatia.
• Plan, implement and manage a range of administrative functions that may include personnel, and financial management activities.
• Plan, implement, and manage a strong business model for Hypatia following the conclusion of the project.
