Job summary

Lifeline Queensland, part of UnitingCare Health, is seeking an Assistant Retail Supervisor for our Cleveland store. This permanent part-time role (Thu, Fri, Sat) offers $28.89 per hour plus super, NFP salary packaging and a high-performer commission program.

You will lead customer service excellence, support the Retail Supervisor, coach staff and volunteers, manage pricing and merchandising, and help drive store profitability while upholding Lifeline's values.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in retail management (or hospitality management) with coaching/mentoring people.
• Ability to deliver high levels of customer service and exceed expectations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Lifeline's purpose and promote its services to the community.
• Support the Retail Supervisor in all aspects of store operations and staff delegation.
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers on pricing, merchandising, promotions and selling techniques to maintain profitability.
• Maintain effective communication within team and with regional support and external stakeholders.
• Identify issues and opportunities from customer feedback and sales data.
• Set objectives and prioritize tasks aligned to the business strategy.
• Coach and develop direct reports to improve performance and achieve goals.
