Job summary

Kyabram District Health Service is seeking an After Hours Primary Care Services Coordinator to lead the ongoing coordination of the after-hours service. You will oversee workforce rostering, service planning and governance to ensure timely access for Campaspe residents outside standard hours.

The role involves collaborative engagement with GPs, nurses, admin staff and external providers, ensuring a sustainable care model and strong health system integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing, Allied Health or Health Administration qualification (or equivalent).
• Proven clinic coordination or healthcare administration experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; stakeholder engagement skills.
• Understanding of GP clinic operations, patient flow and Medicare/health fund processes.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage changing circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate after-hours GP and nursing rostering to ensure timely access to care.
• Oversee day-to-day management and operational oversight of the service.
• Monitor performance metrics and prepare stakeholder communications and reports.
• Engage with medical, nursing, admin staff and external providers to improve service effectiveness.
